The Choke Coil Iron Powder Core Differential Inductor is an inductive component specifically designed to suppress differential-mode interference in circuits. The core is made of iron powder, serving as the magnetic path carrier. Thanks to the excellent magnetic properties and structural design of the iron powder, it can form a high-impedance barrier against the differential-mode interference signals between the phase line and the neutral line. It is widely used in the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) rectification and signal filtering scenarios of power supply systems.

The core body of the magnetic core is made by pressing and sintering carbonyl iron powder. By adjusting the particle size of the iron powder, the insulation coating, and the pressing density, the parameters such as magnetic permeability and saturation magnetic flux density can be precisely controlled. Compared with ferrite magnetic cores, the iron powder core has a higher saturation magnetic flux density and a wider operating temperature range. Moreover, it has lower core loss in the medium and high frequency bands and is suitable for scenarios of large current differential mode suppression. Common shapes include ring-shaped, I-shaped, and can-shaped, which are suitable for different installation and circuit requirements.
