High-power inductors use thick magnet wire or Litz wire. Winding uniformity affects parasitic capacitance and Q factor.
Mechanical mounting matters too. Unfixed toroids may wear through the insulation under vibration, causing short circuits. Protective options include base plates, heat-shrink tubing, or epoxy potting.
