MKPH-SB Film Capacitor

MKPH-SB film capacitors are made of metalized polypropylene film for non inductive winding, with special gold spraying process, encapsulated with Mylar tape, sealed with flame-retardant epoxy resin, and led out with tin plated copper wire or flexible wire. Has excellent high-frequency ripple absorption capability, high dv/dt, good frequency characteristics, and low stray inductance. The product is widely used in various inverter system switch modules (IGBT) such as absorption protection and peak voltage clamping in inverters and frequency converters

Feature

The core adopts high-quality metalized polypropylene film (MKP) dielectric, which is made through precise non inductive winding process, minimizing parasitic inductance and high-frequency losses from a physical structure perspective, laying a solid foundation for efficient absorption of high-frequency interference.

The electrode is treated with a special gold spraying process, which enhances the conductivity uniformity and current carrying capacity of the electrode. Combined with the all-round encapsulation of Mylar tape and flame-retardant epoxy resin, a sturdy and sealed integrated structure is formed, which has excellent insulation, moisture resistance, earthquake resistance and flame retardant (UL94 V-0 level) performance, and can operate stably in complex and harsh industrial environments.

In terms of electrical performance, its stray inductance is extremely low, and it has excellent high-frequency response characteristics and high dv/dt (voltage change rate) tolerance. It can instantly and effectively absorb the voltage spikes and high-frequency oscillations generated by power switching devices (such as IGBT) when turned off, thereby significantly reducing switching stress and losses.

Adopting an axial encapsulated appearance design, it has high mechanical strength, stable and convenient installation, making it easy to achieve high-density layout on compact circuit boards. At the same time, it has good heat dissipation characteristics, ensuring low temperature rise and long service life under continuous high ripple current conditions.
