System Switching Module Capacitor

The system switch module capacitor is an absorption protection component designed specifically for high-frequency and high dynamic working conditions. It adopts a metalized polypropylene film and a non inductive winding structure, with extremely low parasitic inductance and excellent high-frequency characteristics. It can quickly absorb parasitic energy in the circuit during IGBT and power module switching, suppress voltage overshoot and oscillation, and ensure smooth and reliable switching process. This product is suitable for various inverter systems, variable frequency drives, and power modules. It performs outstandingly in applications such as peak voltage clamping and switch protection, helping to reduce system losses, improve overall efficiency, and operational safety

Feature

Specially optimized for highly integrated and modular modern power electronic systems, while inheriting all the electrical advantages of the axial encapsulation series, it pays more attention to the miniaturization, flatness, and high reliability design of the structure. It can be installed closely to IGBT modules or PCBs, minimizing the suction and retraction paths and reducing parasitic parameters.

The extremely low equivalent series inductance (ESL) design is its core, which can perfectly match the ultra-high switching speed (high frequency, high dv/dt) of the new generation SiC (silicon carbide) and GaN (gallium nitride) power devices, providing precise and effective instantaneous protection.

By using highly stable thin film materials and reinforced electrode systems, the capacitance value is ensured to have minimal variation within the full operating temperature range (such as -40 ° C to+105 °C), and has excellent durability and long lifespan, with low performance degradation rate, meeting the protection requirements of the entire life cycle of power modules.

Structurally, it is also encapsulated with high-temperature resistant and flame-retardant epoxy resin, which has excellent mechanical strength, seismic resistance, and moisture resistance, and can withstand mechanical stress and harsh environmental stress in modular systems.

As an internal embedded protective component of the switch module, its design aims to enhance the overall power density, reliability, and self-protection capability of the module.
