The U-shaped closed magnetic core is composed of two symmetrical U-shaped manganese-zinc ferrite/nickel-zinc ferrite magnetic cores that are joined together. It is combined with the frame to form a closed magnetic circuit. It has high magnetic permeability and low magnetic resistance, which can concentrate the magnetic field and reduce magnetic leakage.

The double-winding structure consists of the main winding (primary side) and the auxiliary winding (secondary side): the main winding has fewer turns and a thicker wire diameter, and is connected in series to the measured circuit; the auxiliary winding has more turns and a thinner wire diameter, and is used for signal output and filtering.
