Buffer absorption capacitors are designed specifically for transient energy management in power electronic systems, using metalized polypropylene film non inductive winding, combined with Mylar tape packaging and flame-retardant epoxy potting technology, with high dv/dt tolerance and excellent frequency response characteristics. This capacitor can quickly absorb voltage spikes and high-frequency oscillations generated during the switching process, effectively protecting power devices such as IGBT and MOSFET from overvoltage shocks. Widely used in inverters, frequency converters, and various power modules, it plays a key role in suppressing electromagnetic interference and stabilizing system operating voltage, and is an important component for improving overall performance and reliability

Feature

Based on metalized polypropylene film and advanced non inductive winding technology, the aim is to achieve the lowest equivalent series inductance (ESL), ensuring minimal impedance of the absorption path for transient energy, thereby enabling rapid response and absorption of pulse current and voltage spikes generated at the moment of switching action.

The overall use of flame-retardant epoxy resin for vacuum sealing forms a fully sealed structure, completely preventing moisture and dust from entering, providing extremely high environmental adaptability (moisture-proof, dust-proof, chemical gas resistant) and long-term electrical stability.

Having extremely high pulse current tolerance (high di/dt) and excellent frequency characteristics, it can maintain stable capacitance values and low losses over a wide frequency range, making it particularly suitable for dealing with high-frequency and high-power switching transients.

The main function is to clamp and absorb parasitic energy in the power circuit, directly protect semiconductor switching devices such as IGBT and MOSFET, reduce their switching losses and thermal stress, thereby improving the overall reliability of the machine and extending device life.

Provide multiple terminal options such as tinned copper wire or flexible wire axial lead out, with flexible and easy installation methods that can be easily integrated into busbars, PCBs, or modules.
