Piner’s China Ignition Circuit Capacitor uses imported thickened metallised film as electrode and low-loss tinned lead, provided with noninductive structure, compact conformation, compactness, high temperature resistance (up to 120°C), able to withstand instant high current impact - capacitance short circuit discharge current (hundreds of amps). With operating life as long as 500,000 times, it is applicable to firing circuit, switching power supply of industrial unit, high-performance inverter and other high frequency electronic equipment, especially applicable to high-tension ignition circuit of auto xenon lamp (HID) stabiliser and other high-tension ignition circuits.

The Ignition Circuit Capacitor produced by Piner Manufacturer is a specialized model for ignition systems using metallized polyester (PET) film capacitors. It has been customized for the instantaneous high-voltage pulses, high-frequency charging and discharging, and high-temperature vibration core conditions of various high-voltage electronic ignition circuits. It focuses on the characteristics of high-voltage pulse resistance, rapid charging and discharging, and high-temperature vibration resistance. It is a key component for achieving energy storage - instantaneous energy release in the ignition system. It perfectly meets the special requirements of ignition circuits in internal combustion engines, fuel equipment, etc. Compared to the general-purpose MKT capacitor, it achieves a qualitative improvement in pulse resistance, cycle service life, and adaptability to harsh working conditions. It is widely used in automobiles, motorcycles, fuel-powered equipment, and industrial/military ignition devices.


Exceptionally strong high-voltage pulse resistance:

Designed specifically for the instantaneous high-voltage pulse during ignition, it can withstand high-frequency pulse impacts several times the rated voltage without breakdown or corona discharge. The pulse response is fast, perfectly meeting the "instantaneous high-voltage energy release" requirements of the ignition circuit;

· Efficient and rapid charging and discharging capability:

The core has extremely low resistance, and the non-inductive structure design reduces charging and discharging losses, enabling rapid energy storage - instantaneous energy release, ensuring sufficient ignition spark energy, and solving problems such as weak ignition and flameout;

· Stable operation within a 120℃ temperature range:

Rated operating temperature is -40℃ to +120℃. It can adapt to high-temperature working conditions such as engine compartments and fuel stove cavities. Under high temperatures, the insulation resistance and capacity do not significantly decrease, and under low temperatures, there is no performance freezing. It meets the complex high-temperature environments of outdoor and vehicle use;

· Ultra-high frequency charging and discharging cycle:

The number of charging and discharging cycles is ≥ 10⁶ times, far exceeding that of general MKT capacitors. It can meet the usage requirements of long-term high-frequency ignition of fuel equipment, and the service life matches the ignition system as a whole;

· Reliable self-healing under high temperature:

The thickened high-density metallized electrodes optimize the self-healing triggering mechanism. Under 120℃ high temperature and high-voltage pulse dual conditions, local breakdown can still be completed instantly, avoiding capacitor failure and causing the ignition system to collapse;

· Excellent vibration and shock resistance:

The core body is tightly fixed, and the pins are reinforced and welded. It can withstand high-frequency vibrations of vehicle/mobile fuel equipment (in line with vehicle vibration standards), without core body loosening or pin breakage, and is suitable for mobile/fixed ignition equipment;

· Resistance to harsh environmental conditions:

Fully sealed epoxy packaging, moisture-proof, oil-proof, dust-proof, can work long-term in oil stains, oil fumes of fuel equipment, and dust conditions of industrial equipment, and the insulation performance does not decrease;

· Non-polar design, flexible installation:

No need to distinguish positive and negative poles. It can directly adapt to the pulse DC scenarios of the ignition circuit. The pin spacing is standardized, suitable for the PCB insertion / wiring installation of various ignition modules and igniters, and no additional adjustment of the circuit is required.
