Both CBB22 and CBB21 are metallized polypropylene film capacitors. They share certain structural similarities. The main difference lies in the emphasis on design and process, which leads to different application tendencies.
Traditionally, CBB22 has been more focused on applications in direct current circuits, such as power filtering, bypass and energy storage, etc. Its design is often optimized for stability and low loss under direct current voltage conditions. While CBB21 takes into account both materials and processes for AC characteristics earlier, so it is more commonly found in AC circuits, such as coupling, phase shifting, AC filtering, etc.
