CBB61 Metallized Polypropylene Film Capacitor – For Single‑Phase Motor Start, Run, and Speed Control

The CBB61 capacitor is designed for starting and running single‑phase motors powered by 50 Hz AC mains. It also enables speed regulation for motors. This capacitor is a key component in electric fans, range hoods, air conditioner fan motors, bread makers, and similar household appliances.

1. Features

Plastic case enclosure with uniform appearance.

Low high‑frequency loss, suitable for relatively high current applications.

High insulation resistance, good self‑healing property, and long operational life.

2. Construction

Capacitor element: Wound using metallized organic film.

Encapsulation: Plastic case filled with flame‑retardant epoxy resin. Available with single or multiple capacitor elements inside one case.

Mounting options: Plastic lugs or iron lugs.

Termination styles: Encapsulated leads, tinned copper pins, quick‑connect terminals, or soldering lugs.

3. Operating Conditions

Altitude: ≤ 2000 m

Residual voltage at connection: ≤ 10 % of rated voltage

Maximum permissible voltage: ≤ 1.1 × rated voltage

Maximum permissible current: ≤ 1.3 × rated current
